Autumn Cinnamon Apple Cake


This recipe is a total hit. I got it from a friend from Oklahoma who had a family recipe book from her grandma! A real antique! Here goes this old american family recipe, an all time favorite. My daughter Flor gave it this fancy name:


Autumn Cinnamon Apple Cake


2 eggs

2cups sugar (the crystal type sugar works better)

1 cup oil

2 tb spoons vanilla

1 tb spoon baking powder

2 tb spoons cinnamon

3 cups flour

1 tea spoon salt

2 cups diced peeled apples

Mix eggs, sugar, vanilla, cinnamon, oil. Then add flour, baking powder, salt, and last but not least, add the apples.

Bake in moderate oven for about 45 minutes. If you double it, use bigger pan and avoid making it very high, as it rises well.

It can be served hot by itself, or with vanilla ice cream or chantily. Yummy! Enjoy it!


BOLO DE MAÇÃ E CANELA DE OUTONO

Receita de família da minha amiga americana Tena. Este é sucesso total! Experimente e vai adorar! É Bom, Bonito, Barato e fácil de fazer.

2 ovos

2 copos de açucar cristal ou demerara

2 colheres de sopa de baunilha

2 colheres de sopa de canela

1 copo de óleo

3 copos de farinha de trigo

1 colhere de sopa de fermento royal

1 colher de chá de sal

2 copos de maçãs descascadas e picadas

Misturar os ovos, o açucar, a canela, a baunilha, o óleo. Acrescentar a farinha, o fermento, o sal e as maçãs picadas por último. assar em forno moderado por volta de 45 minutos.

Pode ser servido quente sozinho ou com sorvete de creme ou chantily.
